On April 27, 2014, the beginning of a multi-day and very powerful tornado outbreak would commence. In the first day, a measly 16 tornadoes would be confirmed. But, of these 15 managed to be one extremely powerful EF4. The twister, which formed in the late afternoon, touched down near Mayflower, Arkansas. Soon, it rampaged through various towns in the area such as Vilonia. As the night came, the tornado lifted and in its path was entire neighborhoods completely leveled. Due to this, the outbreak/tornado have become well known by many and unforgettable by most alive in the area at the time. Unfortunately, this tornado mainly occurred during the start of the night, meaning only a handful of videos have been found. Since most were shared back then, any new angles from the event are most definitely a big deal, especially of the twister. For example, my friend u/buildermanunofficial recently discovered this incredible footage of the 0.75 mile twister crossing Lake Maumelle shortly after touchdown. You can see the black mass power through the rough waters in the distance. It was recorded by James M. Harris, who shared it on his facebook.
