Gorakhnath was a Hindu yogi, the saint who was the influential founder of the Nath Hindu monastic movement in India. He is considered one of the two notable disciples of Matsyendranath. He traveled widely across India and authored a number of texts that form a part of the canon of Nath Sampradaya.

Goraknath Ji says that speak not in haste(without understanding), walk not in haste(without knowing the path). Take slow cautious steps (in the path of yoga). Let not pride overtake you. Lead a simple life free of passions. He further says that Oh Yogi die! die to the world (being absorbed in the yogic state of deep trance). Such death is sweet. Embrace the glory of Lord Rama and welcome death with open arms. Die in the manner of Gorakhnath who died (to the world) and then saw the invisible.

Human birth is very difficult to attain and it is not certain that we will be able to reborn as a human again. It's a matter of great fortune and divine grace. It's not an everyday affair that a mighty tree will bore sweet fruits.

Everyone talks about the end, the unseen, the omnipresent but no one knows how to achieve it. And the ones who go on the path to find it are often engulfed by it.

Performed by the stunning duo, Prabhu (Prabhjot Singh) and Aman (Amandeep Kaushal) — the musicians describe The Rising Mallang as a project which strives to revive the musical traditions of mystics, yogis, mahasiddhas, and the Bhakti movement of northern India and the Himalayan regions. Listen to this devout Bhajan and hail the name of the good Lord!
