DIY 30w mini tesla coil kit - guide, wireless power, experiments

For today we have cool little DIY kit, a mini "Tesla coil". 30W version has more power than most of the cheap kits(10w or 15w) but is still tiny and relatively safe.

Caution!
Tesla coil creates extremely high voltage and high frequency sparks. Due to the high frequencies involved, Tesla coils can cause severe burns without the sensation of pain.
Persons with electronic medical implants such as pacemakers should not be near the Tesla coil during operation. EMI from the coil may interfere with the pacemaker’s function.
