If you're wondering what quest is this, it's a quest from the Dark Brotherhood questline, 'Mourning Never Comes'.
Which is needed for this event to take place, with also, as in what the video title says, killing Nilsine Shattershield, that being option to do so when doing the quest itself.

If you're wondering how I got the Dawnguard Husky Dog Companion 'Sceolang' while also being a Vampire:

Option A: Simply finish the Dawnguard DLC siding with the Dawnguard. As Serana is able to turn you into a Vampire anytime after that.
or
Option B: (Still siding with the Dawnguard)
Become a Vampire before going into the Soul Cairn, as you need to be undead before going into it.
Before becoming a Vampire, you are able to get Sceolang as a companion.
Although with being a Vampire, you might be unable to progress the Dawnguard DLC questline at a certain point, as you need to talk to the Dawnguard to continue.
(They might not speak to you if you're a Vampire, and will ask you to cure yourself first, thus I suggest Option A. It's much more convenient, but I did went through with the Option B, for your information.)

Anyway there is also another option to enter Soul Cairn without being a Vampire, which is some soul thing that Serana can turn you into (Some thrall thing please feel free to correct me).
Though it does have some other negative effects too, but in the long run, being a vampire and having to cure it to progress, is also just as much as a hassle, and simply put just plain damn A N N O Y I N G.
