Alone in Heavy Snow: My 3-Day Camping Experience in the Mountains

Join me (Eze, short for Ezequiel) on this epic 3 day solo winter camping adventure deep into the heart of the Lake District mountains!

With some snow on the forecast, I couldn't pass on the opportunity to immerse myself in a winter wonderland...but little did I know that it would turn into an Amber Snow Warning!

In this adventure, I'll be hiking up breathtaking landscapes including waterfalls, crystal clear pools - taking a dip in one of them (water temp 1c!).

As I make it to my camp spot for night one, I realise the ground is frozen and can't take a peg.. temperatures plunge to -9c and I wake up to a winter wonderland on day 2.

A slightly disturbing text comes in from Matt (@Adventure is Made) saying there is an Amber Snow Warning in place for the whole area...

As I sit in my tent, the snowfalls gets heavier and heavier and I wonder if I'll be able to make it out safely...
