LB NOW: The City of Long Beach Present the Proposed Fiscal Year 2025 Budget

The City of Long Beach and Mayor Rex Richardson unveiled its Proposed Fiscal Year (FY 25) Budget on August 1, 2024. The proposed budget focused on areas of investments identified in the Strategic Vision 2030, housing and homelessness, public safety and other priorities.

The community is invited to attend an in-person or virtual meeting to share their input at the following:

Wednesday, Aug. 7 – Recreation Park, Community Center (4900 E 7th St.)
Monday, Aug. 12 – Cabrillo High School, Small Gymnasium (2001 Santa Fe Ave.)
Thursday, Aug. 15 – Ramona Park, Activity Room/Community Center (3301 E 65th St.)
Monday, Aug. 19 – Billie Jean King Main Library, Teen Space (200 W. Broadway)

One virtual community meeting will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 6 to 7:30. For more information and to register for the virtual meeting, please visit: www.longbeach.gov/fy25.
