Raphael Bacote was raised in a strong, spirit-filled home in South Carolina, where church, discipline, and godly values shaped his early years. He experienced the power of God firsthand as a child, witnessing miracles like a man being raised from the dead during a church service. He received the Holy Ghost at age 13 and lived a pure life until 18. But after high school, peer pressure and insecurity led him down a destructive path—skipping school, trying weed, and eventually becoming addicted to drugs, popping pills, and living in his car.
Despite his deep spiritual foundation, Raphael found himself lost in the streets, selling drugs, using drugs, and running from his calling. His breaking point came when he cried out in a car, saying, “If I can’t get around my pastor, I’m going to die in these streets.” The very next day, his pastor called and said, “I’ll cover you until you recover.” That moment marked a divine turning point.
Moving to Mississippi, he was miraculously delivered—cold turkey—from drugs, fornication, and addiction. Though the journey to healing included struggles with control, insecurity, and marriage challenges, God continued shaping him. Through his pastor’s mentorship and the Holy Spirit’s conviction, Raphael learned how to lead his family in love, not dominance.
Now a husband, father of seven, and minister, Raphael urges others to never give up. He reminds listeners that deliverance is real, God hears your cry, and hope must remain alive—even in your darkest hour. He credits Jesus as the only reason he isn’t a destroyer today, saying, “Without Him, I’m nothing.”
