If you want to go Nilgiri from Dhaka then first you need to go Bandarban District in Bangladesh. Dhaka and Bandarban are linked by road. There are direct bus services available from Dhaka to reach Bandarban.

Nilgiri is 46 kilometers away from Bandarban City. You can hire a private vehicle from Bandarban City or you can go there by jeep. On the way to Nilgiri Visitor have to register his name and address to the military check post.

There is a beautiful resort at the top of the mountain maintain by the Bangladesh Army. It has a clean and healthy restaurant. Deliciously cooked rice, beef and mutton can be found there.
