This Streetwear was made from Coconut Fiber. The designer, Jazzlee Yamo Cailing made the outfit that show to us the importance of this costume as it shows symbolism of art that shows the uniqueness of indigenous materials that we can connect to our culture.
This Costume Inspired by Kuyamis Festival which We Misamisnon Celebrated the festivity of thanksgiving and acknowledgment to the customs of the “lumads” who thrived in Misamis with a variety of sweet coconuts as their best food stuff. With that, the outfit is proudly presents the idea and creativity that connect to what we celebrate as misamisnon today.
