Описание к видео Making Pumpkin Butter in the 1800s |Traditional American Fall Food|

Pumpkin butter started to become popular sometime in the early 1800s. The Western Farmer and Gardener Horticultural Magazine (1845) published a recipe for pumpkin butter where it said that if properly stored this delicious spread could be preserved for 7 years!
