And after five attempts at rendering this which took three days. I swear, I thought this would never be up but here it is; weeks after the preview was posted.

I want to dedicate this video to my mother, sappy as that may sound but right now she's struggling with a cancer scare and the doctors aren't exactly cheering her up - she might have breast cancer. There I said it.

Anyways, on with the story behind this video - it's actually based on a true story that happened to my parents at the early stage of their relationship.

Plot:
Tiana and Ella both work at the same restaurant and over the years they have formed a strong friendship. One day Ella cheerfully tells of an encounter with a young man, Naveen, whom she believes to be the one for her. Later that same day Tiana meets Naveen, not knowing he is the same guy, and she is immediately drawn to him. Later, at a ball, Tiana spots Ella dancing with Naveen and jealousy sweeps through her. But what she doesn't realise it that Naveen is in love with her, not Ella - he only danced with her out of pure politeness so when Tiana returns to the ball he asks for her hand in mariage. And this is when something inside Ella snaps - she believes he asked her. When the wedding day arrives Ella gets ready but when she arrives at the church she is surprised to see Tiana at the altar. Heartbroken and devestated she tricks herself into believing that her friend betrayed her trust and stole the man she loved so she sneaks into their home and regularly spies on the newlyweds. One night it is discovered and she is arrested in front of Tiana. Just before the guards drag Ella away she reaches out for her friend who is now deeply troubled and cannot decide if she should have forsaken her own chance at happiness so that her friend could have hers.
Ella is placed at a mental institution where she slowly becomes more and more delusional. Her own mind erases the true memories of a broken heart and instead she places herself in Tia's stead. Her illness consumes her entirely and she is now forced to live within the confines of her own mind. Meanwhile Tia grieves the loss of her friend.

As for the editing techniques used in this video - I know they're different from what I've usually done but I just wanted to try something to. I'm currently redifining myself as an editor.
