DublinTown operate a 10 person ambassador crew on behalf of the businesses of the city centre. We have four information kiosks, two situated on the north side of the city on O'Connell Street and North Earl Street and two situated on the south side of the city on Westmoreland Street and Grafton Street.

These kiosks are manned by our DublinTown ambassadors who assist tourists and Dubliners alike by providing information on Dublin, including maps, bus timetables, directions and recommendations for accommodation, shopping, restaurants and activities in the city centre. Our Ambassadors are well briefed on both the geography of the city and tourist attractions.
The Ambassador crew also board each of the almost 100 cruise liners that dock in Dublin Port to provide advice, maps and business recommendations to the more than 120,000 passengers that visit Dublin City each year.

Through our ‘Meet the Business’ initiative they have had briefings from a large number of businesses in the We Are DublinTown (BID) area and are able to provide tourists with up-to-date information on where to stay, where to eat and all of the tourist attractions in the city. The warm welcome and helpful information they provide to tourists has resulted in many recommending Dublin City as a destination of choice to their friends and family as well as many making a return visit.
