If there was one thing the 70’s was known for other than disco music it would most certainly be its generously sized 2 door luxury cars. With stiff competition from Lincoln bringing the Mark IV to the table and Chrysler’s Imperial the 1970 Coupe Deville received its final face lift before the full size line platform update in 1971. Even though the face lift was minor with a few changes to the grill and bright work 76% of all new Cadillac’s sold in 1970 fell under the Deville moniker, a sales record that Cadillac has not reached since. Our Coupe Deville was originally a California car but purchased in 1973 by an Orlando city council man at Massey Cadillac. The last 42 years of a mild Florida climate has treated this old caddy quite well and it still sports its original paint. Fresh out of a nice interior restoration complete with new upholstery, door panels, vinyl top, headliner and carpeting the white and black interior certainly compliments and stands out from the Adriatic Turquoise exterior. Powering this great land yacht is the 472cid Cadillac V8 mated to a TH400 transmission.
