Spider-Man 🕸️ meets 🤝 the X-Men and tries out the Danger Room ⚠️ in Spider-Man Animated Series 📺 from 1994.

This occurs in season 2 episode 4 titled, “Chapter IV: The Mutant Agenda.” Spider-Man had been captured by the X-Men, then he broke loose and wandered into the infamous Danger Room right after Gambit 🃁 was just in there. Gambit says he left the program running and had selected “Deadly Sentinels 🤖.”

Spider-Man wanders through a seemingly harmless open meadow when his Spider Sense starts going crazy. Suddenly Spider-Man is almost blasted by a large laser. Spider-Man looks up and sees several giant Sentinels. Spider-Man uses his webs to climb on top of one Sentinel then he uses his webs to tether them together. This buys him a second or two then they again nearly vaporize Spider-Man with laser blasts from their palms.

Before they can finish off Spider-Man they get zapped by a lightning bolt ⚡️ triggered by Storm’s ⛈️ powers. Three more Sentinels show up only to be destroyed by Rogue, Beast, Wolverine, Gambit, and Cyclops 👁️. Jean Grey goes to the control room to turn the program off. Suddenly all the Sentinels disappear and Spider-Man says, “I guess the ride’s over.”
