Hi. Matt with etrailer. Today we're talking about our Flint Hill Goods Steel Hitch Cargo Carrier on the back of our 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L. Now, this is gonna be a great option for you if you're really just trying to get some extra space from the back of the Wagoneer, either it's already filled up with other people or luggage, or you have items that you don't want in the back, that being maybe a generator or anything that's gonna have a lot of spillage to it, either like concrete or mulch. But we'll be able to put a lot of things in here. We're gonna have a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds.

So keep in mind though, if you are fully loading this up, this is gonna drop down a little bit. But let's take a closer look at it. We're gonna have this steel construction, and we're gonna have this black powder coat finish to it. And since it is made of steel, we're gonna have a lot of great tie-down points, ranging from these rails we have inside the sidewalls, and even these thinner points right here. Now, keep in mind, if you are using any metal hooks and it's kind of rubbing against your rails, that could take off some of the finish and make it more prone to rusting.

But now we can kinda see how it sits on the back of here. So if I go from our back bumper to the back of the carrier, that's gonna be 24 and a half inches. So that's not gonna stick out too far, but it's something to definitely keep in mind since the Wagoneer is a larger vehicle. If you go in any tight spots in the parking spot or garage, this might be kind of in the way of make it more difficult to park. And our ground clearance is gonna sit at a little bit over 19 inches, which is pretty good.

Do keep in mind if you have this fully loaded, that's gonna drop some, but I don't think it's gonna drop enough to really warrant any concern if you're going up any steep hills. Now, we can kind of see how it's going to install. So if we take a closer look, we're gonna have this two inch shank and that's gonna go into our two inch hitch receiver. And then we're gonna have a bolt that goes through, and it's gonna have a nut at the very end. That's something to keep in mind about this is this, is trying to reduce any rattling from here, but you're still gonna get a little bit from your up and down.

And this can be a little bit of a pain to use, since one side you do have to hold with your hand, and the other side, you're gonna tighten with a three quarter socket wrench. But overall, I think there's gonna be a solid rack for you if you're looking for something that's gonna be very sturdy and can hold a lot of items, things that you don't want inside your vehicle, I think that's gonna be a great solution for that. But if you liked everything you saw today, that was just a look at the Flint Hill Goods Steel Hitch Cargo Carrier on the back of a 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L.
