MOLECULAR BIOLOGY LECTURES SERIES IS GOING ON. cell produces some specific proteins in response of heat shock or stress full condition known as HEAT SHOCK PROTEINS (HSP) . this type of response is known as HEAT SHOCK RESPONSE (HSR).sigma factor is responsible for identification of specific promoter of gene. if sigma factor is responsible for transcription of HSP then sigma factor if known as HEAT SHOCK FACTOR or HEAT SHOCK TRANSCRIPTION FACTOR. RNAP is key enzyme of transcription. promoter is the region of DNA on which RNAP binds. 3' end of coding strand is known as down stream and towards 5 ' end coding strand is known as up stream.
