Danielle Cohn Does It AGAIN!!
Danielle Cohn is a relatively well-known influencer all around, boasting over 1.8 million subscribers on YouTube and a jaw-dropping 18.5 million followers on TikTok. This girl is famous for hiding her real age, driving without a license and just being really scandalous. Despite her peppy attitude, the young star has been wrapped in controversy throughout her career, and her latest scandal sparked due to an unfortunate slip-up in a group Q&A video. On the video Danielle Cohn gathered with a number of friends on a couch to “ask guys JUICY questions that girls are afraid to ask,” as indicated by the video’s title. However, it wasn’t the “juicy questions” that have critics shaking their heads; instead, it’s an apparent slur she seemed to say that has incited outrage online. After almost saying the R-slur, Danielle Cohn asked her editor to cut the moment: “Cut that out!” she appeared to ask her editor. “It is dumb!”
The video quickly went viral across social media, with viewers speaking out against the influencer for seeming to use a slur. This isn’t the first time Danielle Cohn has been caught using the r-slur. And of course, everybody knows that the r-slur is so offensive and disrespectful towards people with actual disabilities. Spreading the R-word continues to hurt people with intellectual disabilities—and whether intended or not, is a form of bullying. Using the R-word is the same as using any slur against a minority group. Eliminating this word is a step toward respect for all. But it seems like Danielle Cohn doesn't care about it at all!
Danielle Cohn has since explained her side of the story, arguing that she had meant to say someone’s name, instead. “I meant to say someone’s name with an R, and then I figured I shouldn’t,” Cohn wrote in an Instagram comment. “I don’t wanna bring him up, so I said cut that out, but my editor didn’t cut it out.”
After the video went viral, everyone in the comments started questioning whether or not Danielle has been using this word as a part of her everyday vocabulary.
Regardless, Cohn has yet to speak further on the situation in wake of the backlash that has mounted against her after the video has taken over TikTok tea pages. So let’s hope and wait Danielle will react to it somehow and not just say that she was about to say someone’s name. Now let me know your opinion about the situation. Do you think Danielle Cohn really has the r-slur in her daily vocabulary? Or did it really just slip out of her mouth? Let me know in the comments section below.
JoJo Siwa CRYING Over This???
Recently the 17-year-old dancer and ponytail enthusiast shared a new video to Instagram declaring she was 'so so happy' after coming out the day before. JoJo Siwa uploaded a TikTok video lip syncing to Lady Gaga’s song “Born This Way”. For those who don’t remember the lyrics, it says: “No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgenderred life, I’m on the right track baby, I was born to survive.” JoJo, who is a self-confessed huge fan of Gaga, also sported her signature rainbow accessories, in keeping with the song's message. All these little things really made so many people believe she was showing her coming out as part of the LGBTQ+ community. So many fans and even famous TikTokers commented and congratulated her. James Charles said: “I’m so happy for you!” Nikkie Tutorials also joined the congratulations commenting: “I am in tears! Welcome baby.”
Also, the next day she was wearing a shirt reading 'Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.,' and JoJo tweeted: “My cousin got me a new shirt.” And of course, so many famous people including Ellen DeGeneres, Lil Nas X and Manny MUA showed their support and warmly commented on her tweet with the photo. And even a little nine year old fan made a TikTok congratulating JoJo by saying she is so happy for JoJo and she said: “It’s especially great to see JoJo coming out because I am a kid being raised by two moms.”
And people were so obsessed with the fact JoJo is in the community now, they even showed their interest in dating JoJo!
