Exploring Hue, Vietnam: Ancient Temples, Palaces & Hidden Gems! 🇻🇳

Hue is the former capital city of Vietnam. On day one I took a Xich Lo ride around the city. It's like a pedicab and one of the best ways to view Hue. It was less than $10 for a few hours of touring. Xich Lo rides are easily available everywhere, you can even get one on the street, I suggest you negotiate the price in advance, so there are no surprises when it's time to pay.

On day two I went to the Imperial City, the formal Royal Palace. I wanted to pay for a tour guide, but miscommunication led me to getting an AR headset with the package. It was pretty cool but it wasn't needed. It has audio which helped, but I recommend getting an actual tour guide. The Imerial City was awesome, with thousands of years of history inside. It's huge! You can really explore all day.

Then I went to the abandoned water park "Ho Thuy Tien". There are signs saying it's forbidden to go there but there were hundreds of people there taking pictures, picnicking, and even doing graffiti. It's free to get in, and you can explore a huge dragon structure.
