Performed by the Royal Ballet Sinfonia conducted by Gavin Sutherland.

Entertainments was commissioned for the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain to play in 1968, under the direction of Denis Wright. The string version came first and the band version was arranged from it, with the ballad published separately. Thank you to Paul Hindmarsh for that information.
