The Future Trunks or Goku Black arc is the single most iconic and memorable story segment from Dragon Ball Super. Remembered for its horror mystery vibes set in a dystopian future, it also carries with it a reputation as one of the most troubled arcs in the Dragon Ball Super catalogue. From pacing issues to frequent breaks in the internal logic to straight up unforgivable conclusions, the Future Trunks arc is so controversial and carries with it so many issues that I had been dreading a rewrite for it as well as a general release of this video.
