** CORRECTIONS **
Since publishing, we have been in touch with Kino Flo and they offered us these corrections:

Gel Selections: The gels are not proprietary. They match Lee and Rosco. Lee and Rosco share the same names or description of their more common gel colors. They used the same names not necessarily the same numbers. The numbers associated with the gels are order references only so you can find them quicker or match another instrument by calling out the reference number.

Another very important feature is the ability to lay a gel on any source with Kelvin ranging from 2500K to 9900K. So with a gel selected you can move onto the Kelvin settings and adjust the Kelvin. The light will appear as the gel on the Kelvin of your choice not just 3200K or 6500K. This allows the user to match existing sources, be they tungsten or HMI. (SkyPanel offers 2 Kelvins)

Smoothing ON: Eliminates any flicker when dimming in 8 bit or when changing from one color to another.
