Certified mathmagician here. I've been playing Minecraft for so long and I never understood WHY sprint-jumping is faster. In other video games it usually doesn't impact your speed, sometimes even makes you slower. So I did some research, looked at the game's source code and found the answers. Then I accidentally read that running at a 45 degree angle is 2% faster. So I did even more research. And it ended up being a really fun video.
