Part one of the annual cattle move/drive back to the farm. The cows are late in their pregnancy and due to calf soon.

All went really well until the following evening when we get the phone call to say the cows are out….

After getting the girls back to the farm we went to find out why they had got out only to find somebody had left the gate open for the cows to wonder back on their own.

And people wonder why farmers padlock gates….. unfortunately this field had public footpath through it.
