http://www.thescifishow.com/show The all new Prometheus promo film is now here, and like 'Happy Birthday David', features footage NOT in the final film. You're watching the exclusive first Australian release, officially live at 3:00am, May 17.

This video interview in a futuristic version of Skype points to one of the less well known speculations of Prometheus (one held by scriptwriter Damon Lindelof) - that the Alien Universe and the Bladerunner Universes are not just similar, but shared.

The 'Yutani' polygraph software used in the 'Quiet Eye' program looks like a good match for the Voight-Kampff test used by Rick Deckard to spot replicants. As a visual lie-detector, the 'Quiet Eye' is a bit of a step up, however.

I imagine the chaps over at 'Lie to Me' may scoff at a computer being this good at spotting the emotions and ramifications of voice content, voice style, and facial movement, in deciphering the 'meta-message' of a statement, but hell - it seems legit.

When it comes to the message itself, we get a good look at the core of Noomi Rapace's character, Elizabeth Shaw - the ambition, the sense of destiny - that bridge beyond logic to somewhere beyond inspiration. It's great for a sense of adventure, but also, highly dangerous when it comes to the cold, uncaring facts of space travel - and dealing with unknown alien forces.

Not quite as 'flashy' as 'Happy Birthday David' and his creepy 'will kill for you' vibe, this 'Quiet Eye' video does contain masses of information.

Dr Shaw is talking directly with Peter Weyland himself - she's going straight to the top in her quest to find the answers of the alien glyphs we've seen in the trailers.

She's a Christian. The idea of religion and alien visitation being two sides of the same coin is an oldie, but a goodie, and it looks like Prometheus will go down that road. Shout out, Gaters!

She's persistent - not only is this one of many messages, she says there's more to come. "I'm not good at giving up". Great for finding the truth, and surviving a disaster, but also - a recipe for getting into trouble.
