Capital CoLAB is a collaborative partnership between academia and businesses in the Capital region to develop the talent needed for the jobs of today and tomorrow.

Join Trey Sullivan, assistant dean for the Liberal Studies Degree Programs at Georgetown SCS, along with Tasha Washington, student engagement associate at Capital CoLAB, as they discuss Capital CoLAB.

The Capital region has great diversity, tremendous assets, and vast potential. To help keep talent in this region, that's where Capital CoLAB can help. This program is being implemented at universities like Georgetown SCS where students will take a set of courses that lead to a pathway and then to a digital badge.

This will indicate that students have the necessary in-demand skills that companies are seeking in the area. Region employers will then notice that badge on student resumes and LinkedIn profiles.

In Focus is filmed at Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies and brings together professors, faculty members, guest lecturers, and thought leaders to engage in conversations that range from leadership to technology and beyond.
