Atishi Unveils Arvind Kejriwal Government’s Huge Support For Youth Startups

Youth startups have got a boost from the Arvind Kejriwal government's education model, and 12th-grade students are earning lakhs and providing employment to others, Delhi minister Atishi said. Under the Business Blaster Programme, 11th and 12th-grade students are being prepared to become job creators, she said.

“The country's education system is preparing youth to stand in long queues, but Arvind Kejriwal's education model focuses on turning youth into job creators,” Atishi said. “42 per cent of India's youth are unemployed, making India one of the top three countries in the world for unemployment,” she said.

According to a McKinsey report, if India wants to provide jobs to all its youth, it will need to create 90 million non-agricultural jobs by 2030. Atishi alleged that amid rising unemployment, the BJP-led central government is not providing any employment opportunities for youth, as even educated youth are ready to work as peons.
