PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – Are you a beginner painter? Want to learn how to paint with acrylics? Looking for a seascape painting idea? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy step-by-step instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint a horse running on a beach—a fun animal landscape “Beach Horse”. There are so many iconic horse riding scenes in movies; Cocktail when Tom Cruise and Elizabeth Shue rode horses in Jamaica, Dances with Wolves, when Keven Costner hunted for buffalo with his native American tribe, True Lies, when Arnold Schwarzenegger chased the bad guy through the streets of Washington DC on a horse, The Lord of the Rings, when Gandolf lead the troops to protect the castle, True Grit, when the Marshall rode head-on against four criminals, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, when the two bandits fled from the law after their daring train robbery, Ben Hur and the infamous chariot scene, Braveheart, when William Wallace stopped the onslaught of the English garrison, Tombstone, the Gladiator, War Horse, Seabiscuit, the list goes on and on. But out of all the epic scenes I think my favorite is Black Stallion when Alec Ramsey forms a special bond with his horse as they ride on the beach at sunset. A touching and nostalgic moment that reminds me of when I was a child and my best friend was my horse, Scottie. A special bond I had with Scottie as we would go for long rides in the woods together. So, join me and paint this oceanscape wall art of a galloping horse on a beach that perhaps has some special meaning to you. There are so many wonderful lessons this art tutorial has to teach you. You will learn how to paint a sky with faint drifting clouds, an ocean with rolling waves, and a beach with textured sand. You’ll learn how to draw a horse with basic shapes, then paint a horse with a foundation color, then add highlights and shadows to the body to create dimension and form, giving it a realistic 3-D like appearance. You’ll learn how to paint all the details that give a horse it’s unique characteristics and movement; eyes, muzzle, mane, and tail. With these simple art techniques, you'll have confidence to paint any type of horse you want, a stallion, Clydesdale, Mustang, Colt, thoroughbred, or Arabian. The point is to just have fun with it and make this powerful majestic image meaningful to you! With an enchanting energy, this image is created in a realistic painterly painting style. The painting process is so simple you’ll feel like it is a paint by numbers. Using only 3 brushes and 6 colors, you’ll paint like a professional! Have a date night at home, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy. It's an easy art project. I hope you enjoy watching this YouTube art video and let's get painting and let's get sipping!
