Combination Tours: offers packages that combine Mnemba snorkeling with other activities, such as visits to a spice farm or the Aquarium Sea Turtles. These tours are priced around $65 to $70 per person.

Private Full-Day Tours: For a more extensive experience, private full-day tours including snorkeling, dolphin encounters, and beach visits are available, starting at approximately $120 per person but (we can negotiate the price)

Departure & Return
Most Mnemba Island snorkeling and boat tours operate in the morning because the sea is calmer and visibility is better.

Departure Time: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Return Time: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM

MEETING UP :
1.Nungwi Beach

Many boat tours depart from Nungwi Beach, a popular tourist area.
Nearby hotels include Riu Palace, Z Hotel, and Kendwa Rocks.

2.Matemwe Beach (Closest to Mnemba Island)

The shortest boat ride (around 20 minutes).

Good , if you are staying in Stone Town, you have a few options to get to Mnemba Island for your tour:

1. Private Transfer (Best Option)
A private taxi or tour operator can pick you up from your hotel in Stone Town and drive you to Nungwi Beach or Matemwe Beach (1 hour – 1.5 hours).
Most tours offer hotel pickups for an extra fee or include it in the package.
Cost: Around $30–$50 one way for a private taxi.

2. Renting a Car or Taking a Local Bus (Daladala) (Cheapest but Slowest)
If you're adventurous, you can take a Daladala (local minibus) from Stone Town to Nungwi or Matemwe.
However, it takes 2+ hours, is crowded, and doesn’t run on a strict schedule.
Cost: Around $2–$5 per person.

What Time Should You Leave Stone Town?
If your tour starts at 8:30 AM in Nungwi or Matemwe, you should leave Stone Town by 6:30 AM – 7:00 AM to reach on time.
