Black Bear Pass August 18, 2017. This is a Jeep Badge of Honor Trail. No music added to this one. We had great weather and amazing views. Just below Black Bear Summit we ran into a solo hiker named Kat. She hiked up from the Power House waterfall that morning....quite a hike! I stopped and asked if she needed anything...she laughed and said.."I could use a ride back down" She was a great passenger and spotter for me. Thanks Kat! My buddy, Jeff, in the red Jeep is from So. California and had never driven Black Bear Pass before. He did a great job. Thanks for the spotting Jeff!! When you get down to Telluride I recommend having lunch at Brown Dog Pizza then take Imogene Pass out of Telluride back to Ouray.
