New CD out now! Journeys: New Destinations

Six years after Different Places and just in time for our 10th Anniversary
we are heading for New Destinations. During those years Journeys has grown
together to be a wonderful musical unit. The addition of Philippe Mall and
Willy Kotoun brings a new drive and excitement to the bandstand. Philippe is
one of very few saxophonists in Switzerland who can authentically play this
genre of music and each of his solos raises the roof! Willy Kotoun's
enthusiam and colorful, grooving playing give the music that special kick.
The new compositions by Dennis, Angelo and Philippe take the listener for a
wide variety of musical adventures.
We hope that you, the listeners, enjoy the new destinations which we
explored. Thanks for joining us on our journeys!

Executive Producer:

Journeys is a matter of the heart: Old friends playing music together for
many years, finding new friends, who have been around for a long time. The
story of our band is based on a mutual love for this style of music as well
as personal friendships, respect and appreciation between the musicians. The
wonderful talents of each of them contribute to the unique sound of our
band. To work on this project in the studio and to play live on stage with
Angelo, Dennis, Philippe, Luciano and Willy is a real privilege for me. It's
this wonderful and rare musical situation where a glimpse from the corner of
the eye says more than 1000 words and can push the music in so many
different directions. To see the music grow during this recording was pure
joy and... a lot of fun! Angelo Signore handled his job as musical director
with impeccable taste, musicality and creativity. Maestro, sei bravissimo!
The amazing talent of our sound engineer Urs Wiesendanger, the musicality
within his recordings and his positive attitude contributed greatly to a
final result which we are very proud off. We hope you like it too!
