Lightsaber Sparring - Jedi Knight Miguel vs Darth Rui

Christmas was kind to us here at Espada Negra. And holding a lightsaber does bring out the child in all of us. It’s a silly amount of fun and for once we we can put our swords aside and just have at it with with something we’ve been dreaming about since kids.

It’s so much fun you don’t feel the pressure to perform well, or just pay close attention to your technique and follow a particular lineage or another, just grab a lightsaber go out there and have fun (I mean if you don’t want to go for any of the 7 forms that is, Rui just couldn’t help bring out some Makashi), you can really just have fun and try new stuff out you would never consider trying in an historical fencing context.

There’s plenty of other combinations we still have to try like staff and dual wielding but for the time being and because we’re still a HEMA channel we’re just leaving this here.
