The Blazers once scored with six players on the floor and the NBA had to allow it | Weird Rules

Описание к видео The Blazers once scored with six players on the floor and the NBA had to allow it | Weird Rules

What do you call it when the refs don't notice you do something that breaks the rules until it's too late? Is that cheating? Or is that just negligence by the officials? Whatever it is, the Portland Trail Blazers got away with one back in 2008 against the Boston Celtics.

They managed to score while six players were on the court. Boston noticed. The refs didn't. But the points had to stand. So just what happened, and how could the NBA fix such an egregious gap in the rules that allowed everyone to live with this?
