🎧 Sennheiser HD202 Cable Replacement — $1.50 Fix for $100 Headphones

My trusty Sennheiser HD202 headphones had a damaged cable, but instead of throwing them away, I decided to repair them.
I picked up a 3 m stereo cable with a 3.5 mm plug on one end and RCA connectors on the other for just $1.50, cut off the RCAs, and rewired it directly into the headphones.

In this video, I take you through the full half-hour repair process step by step — opening the earcups, preparing the new cable, soldering the connections, and testing the result.
The headphones are now working perfectly again, with a solid new cable ready for years of use.
