Founded in 1965, CINECON is the longest running classic film festival in Hollywood. Every Labor Day weekend connoisseurs of classic cinema from around the globe enjoy five days and nights of rare and restored 35mm archival prints of some of movie history's most shining entertainments. 50 feature length and short subject films are projected at the historic Grauman's Egyptian Theater on Hollywood Blvd. Accompanied every year by some of the actors and directors involved with these classic productions. CINECON's impressive memorabilia and paper show is installed in dealers rooms just down the street at the Loews Hollywood Hotel, which also hosts the Sunday evening gala awards ceremonies attended by and honoring numerous classic film celebrities.
