This is a preview of a documentary I am putting together about the different types of climates and landscapes of the Big Island of Hawai'i. The Big Island is formed by volcanoes over 500000 years ago. It is the youngest of the Hawaiian Islands. The elevation varies from sea level to 13804 feet to the summit of Mauna Kea. This will video will show some short clips on what will be in the documentary to give you an idea the diverse types of climates you will find in one small area. Here in Hawai'i you will find a desert, tundra, polar, tropical and even prairie (tropical summer dry) climates Enjoy!
