Today is the last day of the True Viking metal detecting raid in England.
There will be some great discoveries for the vikings during this very last encounter with the British field. After a slow start the guys hit it big with a silver artifact, and at the very last minutes they manage to uncover an almost two millennia old Roman Brooch. A theory about a treasure spot has been forming in their minds for weeks, now it is time to see if X really marks the spot. The final part of the episode will reveal in which part of the world Season 2 of True vikings will be held.


True Vikings is a show about metal detecting and horsing around in England. In the first season the vikings are aiming for the metal reconquest of England, one button at a time. The True Vikings have a mission in England, called the Buckle List which includes finding a roman imperial coin, a roman imperial silver coin, hammered silver coin, legionnaire equipment, gold, viking stuff, celtic (iron age) stuff, jewelry made of noble metal and a find that will be deemed a treasure.

All of our finds are reported to the finders liaison.
No animals were harmed in making this masterpiece of cinematography.
