Making a Dovetailed Tea Cabinet - (Part 1) | Fine Woodworking

Описание к видео Making a Dovetailed Tea Cabinet - (Part 1) | Fine Woodworking

This is a project based on Mike Pekovich's design of a small tea cabinet featuring Kumiko and a sliding panel.

Wood: Maple and walnut for carcass and drawers, ebony for the pulls, basswood for the Kumiko.
Finishing: Danish oil and matt OSMO.
Tools: Lea Nielsen, Veritas and Axminster
No fasteners has been harmed creating this project.

Working in a small space in my London apartment I mostly used hand tools and traditional joinery.
The goal of this project is to create the design and the cabinet from only reference pictures and to be able to produce something nice without any heavy powered machine.

Time and Patience.

Ask me anything in the comments and thanks for watching. Enjoy!
