As his deputy marshals — men like Bass Reeves — risked their lives to bring in the worst the frontier had to offer, Parker’s courtroom echoed with final pleas, last words, and the creak of rope. This is the story of a man who tried to tame chaos — and became a legend wrapped in both justice and fear.
