A little about the background of the model railroad:
Two important railroad lines cross each other in Hallsberg, Sweden. The western main line runs in a west-east direction from Gothenburg to Stockholm. The port of Gothenburg is Sweden's largest, and much of the goods to Sweden arrive there. The freight route through Bergslagen runs in a south-north direction, and is important for freight transport up in the country. In the video, we see how Hallsberg's Model Railroad Association builds a model of the station area in H0 scale (1:87) and shows the trains that pass and are rearranged at the switching yard (shunting/classification/marshalling yard) in Hallsberg.
