Parkinson's disease क्या है? (What Is Parkinson's?)
Parkinson's disease, एक neurodegenerative disease है। इसमें दिमाग की पेशिया या brain cells / neurons , degenerate होते है। उसमे जो chemical होता है वह कम हो जाता है। ये dopamine group of chemical होते है और ये केमिकल कम होने से Parkinson's disease के symptoms दिखाई देते है।

Symptoms of Parkinson's
पार्किंसंस रोग का मुख्य लक्षण हैं:
Tremor : हाथ और पैर में कंपन (कांपना)होना धीरे धीरे शरीर में stiffness हो जाती है जिससे चलने और बात करने में दिख्खत हो जाती है। यह बीमारी older age group में होती है।

Parkinson's disease का इलाज कैसे किया जा सकता है? (Treatment of Parkinson disease in Hindi )
यह बीमारी अनुवांशिक भी है लेकिन यह १० से १५ % cases रहते है। यह Parkinson's disease जैसे उम्र बढ़ती है वैसे वैसे बढ़ता जाता है। यह disease या बीमारी का इलाज नहीं है पर उसको नियंत्रण में रखने के लिए दवाइया दी जाती है।
Parkinson's disease पे दवाइया आने से पहले patient expectancy इस बीमारी में ५ से ६ साल तक था लेकिन अब दवाइयों के कारन पेशेंट कही साल तक नौर्मल जीवन जी सकता है। यह दवाइया आजीवन लेनी पड़ती है। दवाइयों का असर होने में ८ से १० साल लगते है उसके बाद drugs modify करने पड़ते है।
अभी नए Parkinson's disease treatment भी उपलब्ध है। ये treatment ही surgery करना और DBS (Deep brain stimulation ) जिसमे brain के किसी हिस्से में electrodes डाले जाते है और एक pace maker लगाया जाता है। यह काफी लाभदायी होता है पेशेंट इससे dosages भी कम लगते है और Quality of life patient का अच्छा हो जाता है।

Parkinson's disease यह एक controllable disease है , दवाइयों के जरिये हम patient की quality of life काफी अच्छी कर सकते है। पर इसका treatment अच्छे तरह से करना चाहिए , ठीक से drug adjustment करना चाहिए , physiotherapy भी करनी चाहिए और family support की भी काफी आवश्यकता होती है।
