How to spend the day at Calaveras Big Trees state park

Ever been to Calaveras Big Trees State Park? I hadn't until now! Patti was so tickled that she had been somewhere where I have not!

Calaveras Big Trees State Park is in Calaveras County. It's a $10 entry fee for a carload up to 9 people. There is a lot to see at Calaveras Big Trees State Park.

It's a 1.67 mile hike around the park. You gotta visit the Visitor Center as well as it has a ton of history and amazing content to read with a gift shop.
