Hickory Golf in the Scottish Highlands & Moray: Hickory Hacker in Scotland, Part 3

Interactive golf historian and hickory golfer Christian Williams shares highlights from his May 2023 trip to the Scottish Highlands and Moray where he played pre-1850 featherie golf, pre-1900 gutty golf, and pre-1935 hickory golf with fellow hickory golfer and golf historian Andy Grow. In total, Williams and Grow played hickory golf on nine historic Scottish golf courses and filmed every round. This highlight reel is a teaser of what's to come on the channel with full course vlogs from every round being released throughout the summer and fall of 2023.

If you're new to the channel, Williams is a high-handicap golfer with a love for the game that's far greater than his ability to play it well ... but he's getting better. Follow along as he shares his passion for the history of the game through collecting, repairing, and playing hickory golf with antique wood-shafted golf clubs. And who knows - maybe he’ll even lower his handicap along the way.
