Labelled as #AD (on thumbnail) as I was given a game code of DRAG X DRIVE from Nintendo MSL Group.

This is not a paid sponsor as in "earning extra cash" after producing content.

The AD notification is mandatory to UK content creators thanks to the ASA.

So a few weeks ago, I took on the challenge of beating Super Mario Party Jamboree TV's Joy-con 2 Mouse mini-games by S ranking them with 1 player, 2 controller approach.

This time, DRAG X DRIVE is 1 player, 2 controller by design.
This is a notable game which screams Switch 2 exclusive in terms of control method but is it as smooth as butter or a bumpy frustrating one?

What works most of the time is going in a straight line.
But trying to perform other fancy maneuvers such as a side wheelie WITHOUT turning or a "forward jump" by gaining speed and pulling off a bunny hop is definitely not consistent.

Maybe it has something to do with my room setup in terms of not dropping controller signal?
Maybe it has something to do with a giant mouse mat that can be rolled up easily where it eventually gets confused to what counts as surface input and what counts as mid-air input?

So unlike most "all goals" videos I have posted to this channel, I couldn't be bothered into trying to beat my PBs due to the nature of the Joy-con 2 Mouse controls being a nightmare at times.

The only big tip is that for a 25 trophies speedrun (lol).
You only need to win 3 out of 9 bot matches by clearing level 1 first during the tutorial and then level 8 which gives the player trophies from levels 2-7 as well as level 8. Level 9 bot game can only by unlocked as the final challenge AFTER obtaining 24 out of 25 trophies.

The high level bot matches are very annoying, whenever I try to attempt a toss based shot, the opposing AI are very good at making my character drop the ball, but when my teammates have the ball, the rivals don't seem to go aggro on them as much as the player. So my tip is to pass the ball to a teammate that has 0 members from the other team checking them as they have a better chance at scoring a point.

My other big tip is that after earning a point, stay at the rival's base and when you get pushed out from the anti-camping force field, try and hit your opponent as it pushes them out from the area too, making them lose a bit of time and hopefully a few seconds closer to victory.

Oh and Nintendo, please add local wi-fi multiplayer to this as resorting to a paid online subscription isn't a valid excuse to play local multiplayer with a friend. *As of 20th August 2025.
