Rude | Holli & Lina

Hey dudes, dudettes and dudles!
FINALLY I get to upload my 9k subscribers video featuring my newest OTP Holli and Lina! I have shipped these two for about a year now, and only just now made an independent project with them. This took me a few months, mostly because I worked on it on and off xD But I've had this idea all year and legitimately had to hold myself back from not starting it way back when I first got the idea because I of course had other responsibilities back then xD
A side note: You may have noticed that my watermark has changed with this video. That's because that while I loved having my best friend Olive's handwriting as my watermark (because that made it personal since no one else could would have the exact same font as me) then I've started missing finding an appropriate font for the feeling in my videos and such so I'm going back to choosing whatever font I think suits the video itself x3

Plot:
Holli and her mother Tweed recently arrived to their new home in the outskirts of nothing. Their new neighbors, Lina and her father, noticed their arrival, but only the daughter was curious enough to stay behind and share a look with her new neighbor whom she is attracted to immediately.
Skipping ahead in time (how much time is up to the viewer) where Holli has decided to ask Lina to marry her. On a Saturday morning, she goes to Lina and proposes to her. Lina of course says yes and they are both deliriously happy. But that happy bubble is soon popped when Holli tells Amos Slade that she has proposed to his daughter. He is furious for several reasons: He is old-fashioned and she should have asked him first, Holli is still nothing but a city-slicker in his eyes and Holli is a woman rather than a man so he assumes that means no grandchildren. When Lina realizes that her father is against the marriage, she can't help but clam up and start crying.
While Holli is trying to keep her mouth shut despite Amos Slade screaming in her face, her mother notices the screaming and comes to help her daughter. Unlike Holli, Tweed has no issue with Amos Slade hating her and therefore goes on a tantrum because how dares he talk that way to her daughter and make his own daughter cry! Holli seeks the opportunity to take her heartbroken fiance away. Lina tells Holli that she can't marry her until her father approves, and Holli accepts this, believing they can convince Amos Slade in time, but she also convinces Lina to stay with her and her mother until that time.
In the evening, Amos Slade comes to the Tweed family's house to make Lina come home with him, but both Tweed and Holli refuse to let him talk to her. Lina keeps sleeping through this argument.
Time passes (how much is again up to the viewer) and Lina continues to live under the Tweeds' house, while her father watches her from their house. He sees her being with Holli, flirting with her, drawing her and in general being happier than he has ever seen her be before.
When the fair comes to town, they all end up meeting there by accident. While Tweed immediately tries to make sure that Amos Slade knows he is still in the wrong, Holli is now practically begging on her knees to let her marry Lina. Lina stays quiet while Amos Slade once again says no, albeit more calmly this time around. But Lina is the one who throws a tantrum this time. Shocked would be an understatement for what Amos Slade is feeling while his daughter is yelling at him for the first time in her life. It's actually the first time he's seen her standing up to herself, and while he's not happy that he's the target, he is happy that she's grown some backbone. And he's not so stupid that he doesn't know it's thanks to Holli's influence.
Skip forward to the wedding where Holli and Lina make their vows in front of a priest and their parents. Happy ending!
