The Heart of NVC with Robert Gonzales, Ph.D. (Part two)

From a training we hosted years ago in Boulder, Colorado, with the wonderful Nonviolent Communication (NVC) teacher Robert Gonzales.

Robert Gonzales established and led the Center for Living Compassion until his passing in November 2021. Robert’s passion was introducing spirituality to compassionate communication and developing living compassion as a living practice. He saw compassionate communication as a process that helps us connect more authentically with ourselves and others and as a spiritual practice and a way of living.

Robert received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1989. He met Marshall Rosenberg and Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in 1985 and offered NVC training in various forms since 1986.

Robert was a Certified Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication and served as a trainer at many International Intensive Trainings (IITs) around the world.
