watching me watching you / music and lyrics by ian anderson

as a big fan of this wonderful misterious song from the album " broadsword and the beast " from 1981 , this is my " fanwork version " of a true masterpiece of music by ian anderson with the tull lineup . a song from these days where sythesizers came into the band and the sounding horizon of tull got to a new level . since 30 years i wanted to make a version that includes the original arangement and sounds with a couple of " acustic ideas " like mandolin and acustic guitars . the singing is a hommage to ian andersons powerfull vocals performance . it took me a couple of hours to find this voice in me . in the end i danced around the recording room to get this feeling of using my voice in the " tull way " . it was a challenge to do that with all my knowledge and passion for music. in this case i was really kind of " catched " by the song and the lyrics . so i added the pictures in my mind to a video of the song . and its still a secret behind this verses . hope you have some thrilling minutes with my version ! axel nagel ( south germany ) a true fan !!
