'The Returned': Watch as Virgil Coaches Camille on Being Dead

Three cheers for the fact that The Returned is back, and that SundanceTV picked it up so we can watch it with English subtitles. The French series about the residents of a small Alpine town (both dead and undead) is a gorgeous, haunting character study that explores issues of grief, loneliness, and of course, the supernatural. It's also occasionally terrifying.

In our exclusive clip from the upcoming episode, "Virgil," the mysterious young man (played by Ernst Umhauer) coaches Camille (Yara Pilartz) on powers she doesn't yet know she possesses. The returned are able to glean things from others about connections, histories, and anything else they are trying to hide. But Camille's reaction to seeing Virgil's death and other secrets seem to frighten her -- is he a friend, or is he one of the dark forces who, like Milan (Michaël Abiteboul), have returned as an agent of harm?
