Drizzly desert Winter camping: hiking, cooking, and relaxing among the Arizona cacti, with a cold.

To set the tone for the new year, I'm starting with a relaxing camping trip at a local park (McDowell Mountain Regional Park) campground (Ironwood).

Before check in, Gunther and I enjoy the desert beauty with an easy 3 mile hike on the North Trail. Then relax with a little sip and paint happy hour, followed by a pieiron dinner.
