Want to disable friends from finding you on Twitter using e-mail address?

Just follow these steps and you will learn how to do it:

1. Open up Twitter app on your phone and login to your Twitter profile.
2. Click on the menu icon at the upper left corner of your screen.
3. Now click on “Settings and privacy” from this menu.
4. Tap on “Privacy and safety” section.
5. Open up “Discoverability and contacts”.
6. In this page uncheck the box next to “Let others find you by your email address” and from now on your friends will not be able to find you on Twitter by searching your e-mail address.
