Smart speakers and digital assistants are at the heart of every smart home. In this video we compare the audio and sound quality of the new ‪@googlenest‬ Audio with the cheaper Nest Mini. With the two speakers placed inside an acoustic chamber, recorded with a RØDE NTG1 professional shotgun microphone recording onto a Sony HXR-NX80, this video compares the sound quality from both devices by listening to two pieces of music from different genres to assess the difference in sound quality with the Nest Audio.

The treble and bass on both speakers were set to 0, the volume set to 100% and the microphone was positioned to ensure it was the same distance from each speaker.
